Hey, could some one help me install this? Whenever I attempt to install it says
I need direct x. If I try to cancel it as suggested, it just completely cancels
start up. Likewise, if I try to install direct x  through the wizard, it also
fails and says I need to check my directx.log file. 

Any ideas of what to do?

I tried to install Civilization through Wine 1.1.12 and Wine 1.0.1. Both times
I had the same DirectX problem...anyone have any ideas?
