For me the bug looks like an application bug in 1.1.12:

When the app starts this happens:

* Empty error dialog <OK>
* Splash screen occurs
* Underneath I get a font installation error <ALT-MOUSE> <OK>
* Splash disappears and main window pops up.

In other words: if the font error would not occur, I think it would start just
fine. Now I have to find out why the two error dialogs pop up...
