New try with the demo (I don't have the game installed now):

AMD Radeon 4850/fglrx 8-12-x86.x86_64

Installation works fine, but when the game start, it complains about Starforce
error 1056 (see attached stack trace). There is no no-cd for the demo so I
can't go further.

I will try to reinstall the full game.
