Try the same solution, as for windows...there is a problem with running GTA4 on
SP2...but you can change value  "CSDVersion" in
"HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SYSTEM\CurrentControlSet\Control\Windows"

The default value is 0x00000200, try to set 0x00000300

This helps in windows, maybe on linux too +)
