After doing that, a previous workaround worked again for installing VC80
correctly:

It seems to be another bug in Wine. The VC80 setup does not work correctly (it
does not generate the manifest files) when you use the builtin-version of
mscoree and/or using a windows version greater than 2000. So force mscoree to
native, set the Windows version to Win2000, run the VC80 setup again and you
should have the correct manifest.

After that, I finally had them:
