The log is rather different, there are now lots of winsock calls, finally
ending in:
fixme:winsock:ws_sockaddr_ws2u Unknown address family 26, return NULL.

This confirms my hunch that it's a winsock bug, IRDA isn't implemented in
winsock yet.
