I'm not aware of crashes of this test app, but probably I didn't test on your
type of card. There are way too many different
combinations(linux/mac/ati/nvidia/intel/dx9 class card/dx10 class card), so I
keep losing overview.

A crash certainly makes this issue more difficult to deal with this bug. If the
upload is failing, we can test for that. If the test crashes the app, not so
much. The only thing worse is if the bug causes a kernel panic or window server
crash.
