The log I have attached is based on 
"wine ..path-to-sketchup.exe.. 2>&1 >error.log"
so all console output will be there.

I have deliberately not used winetricks as I understand defect reports after
using it may not be addressed. 

I will clone my wine config folders and try it though - just so then I can
return to the unaltered state if that fails to work.
