Well, this is weird

It seems the game only works properly @ 1280x800. If I start it fullscreen, it
uses 1280x800 as resolution and I can play the game with no problems.

If I start it in windowed mode, the only resolution that works properly is
1280x800. Any other resolution will trigger the issue described in this ticket. 

And the fixme:xinput:XInputGetState messages appear all the time while the game
is running.
