It just brings up the SPORE splash screen and the Installation Shield load, and
then dies.

It works perfectly in 1.1.22 BTW!

My specs are;
AMD Athlon x2
2GB RAM
GeForce 8800GTS using driver 185.18.14 (the newest driver).

Hope that and the Terminal readout attachment helps!
