yes. ON the three machines I installed wine freshly, and made the sam,e:
install vcrun6 and try to run gauss

I tried on two machines (ubuntu 8.04 and 9.04): installed comctl32 and run it:
still freezing and exiting, error message seems similar (posted just beofre)
