One could use Virtualbox to run games with Punkbuster since that way you could
have the real windows dlls. This isn't a fix for this Wine bug, but it could
help lot of people having this bug by providing an extra method. 

I haven't tested this, but in theory it could work perfectly.

No wonder it will work perfectly under Windows, and you don't even need
to test it, it's tested by Punkbuster developers.
