In a very reproducible manner ever since World of Warcarft was updated to patch
3.0+ have I been having trouble to log out normally - after 2 minutes it simply
times out and shows "You have been disconnected from the server" which
coincides the following messages:

err:ntdll:RtlpWaitForCriticalSection section 0x4eafa34 "?" wait timed out in
thread 0037, blocked by 0009, retrying (60 sec)
err:ntdll:RtlpWaitForCriticalSection section 0x4eafa34 "?" wait timed out in
thread 0037, blocked by 0009, retrying (60 sec)
>> here it's back in the login screen showing that I have been disconnected
fixme:win:EnumDisplayDevicesW ((null),0,0x39deb4,0x00000000), stub!

Please note that for the rest World of Warcraft is working more or less
smoothly.
