Okay so just to make it apparent I am using 64 bit Kubuntu 9.04 and to install
it i used the .deb files. so how do I do a total removal and re-installation of
Wine since I cannot make the uninstall files. I followed the documentation on
how to make the uninstall file but the compiler would not work the best guess
is that it is due to the architecture is wrong with this line'/usr/bin/ld:
skipping incompatible /usr/lib/gcc/x86_64-linux-gnu/4.3.3/libgcc.a when
searching for -lgcc
/usr/bin/ld: skipping incompatible /usr/lib/gcc/x86_64-linux-gnu/4.3.3/libgcc.a
when searching for -lgcc
/usr/bin/ld: cannot find -lgcc
collect2: ld returned 1 exit status

...

configure:2720: error: C compiler cannot create executables
See `config.log' for more details.'
that inserpt is from the config.log from the wine file. any ideas.
