Not that I've found. I think it may be related to an old bug where CTRL was no
longer available if you switched virtual desktops.

The new window that CTRL+F brings up seems to the cause of the problem. If you
do:
Notepad++
asldkfjasldfjasldkfjalsdkf
CTRL+A, CTRL+C, CTRL+V
it works fine
