I've now encountered another similar way to crash Legacy in Wine.

When the individual's information window is open, the lower half box allows
cut/paste as normal, except when attempting to over-type or delete highlighted
text. Hmm...  I've just been attempting to reproduce the problem, but failed. 
Yesterday it failed frequently, but not solidly.

I'll leave this in for now and will do more testing.
