Wasn't quite sure what to do, but it seems that adding a "quartz (native)"
override in the Libraries tab is enough to get it working!

Yes, now it works properly.  Looks absolutely dreadful in software rendering
mode, but as hardware rendering seems to work perfectly, I guess that's not
interesting.

I guess this identifies a bug in Wine Quartz?
