This is wrong way to start programs:
http://wiki.winehq.org/FAQ#run_from_terminal

Upgrade Wine, latest version is wine-1.1.24.

Make sure you remove ~/.wine directory after installing new Wine version.

Closing invalid. Reopen if the problem persists with proper way of starting
program and new Wine.
