I can add this too : in my current kernel conf I have enabled the High Memory
Suppor, you can set it in Processor type Features -> High Memory Support, the
options are : off, 4GB, 64 GB.

The option info is : 
  CONFIG_HIGHMEM4G:                                                            
                     Select this if you have a 32-bit processor and between 1
and 4          gigabytes of physical RAM.

You can set this option, accesing to kernel source, and later write " make
menuconfig ", for example:


# cd /usr/src/linux 

# make menuconfig

and the last step, build the kernel (see kernel doc documentation)...
