StrongDC++ 2.22 freezes randomly(after minutes or hours).

Strongdc does not crash but it freezes.

System configuration : 
Ubuntu Linux 8.04 kernel 2.6.28.7 , wine 1.1.17 , Athlon 3000+ , 512Mb RAM
oss-linux-4.0-1051_i386.deb sound driver
Wine is installed from .deb , pretty much standard configuration , no
winetricks or other modifications.
