I'm not sure if this is actually caused by Safedisc or not.  What I've read
about Safedisc there should be some files on the CD, but I can't find them.

I found a NoCD, but that doesn't work either, and I really don't know what copy
protection (if any) the CD uses.  I also can't find a Linux tool to tell me.

If this is a Safedisc problem, it would explain the exception.
