Number ways how you can do it. Of course depends on the each dialog.

First way - implement new standard shell dialogs (those from winXP) where you
have left side with icons.
Second - you can add more buttons to dialogs.
Third - replace default edit with drop-down with something more sophisticated.

Do not talk about windows stuff as it would be GTK/QT widgets - they are not.
What you "think" has nothing to do with the way they work. Wine does not
integrate with GTK/QT nor will it in the future. This means the "control
center" has nothing to do nor will it have anything to do with Wine in the
future.
