Yes, nearly all apps are 32bit for wine (there is a wine64 (see
http://wiki.winehq.org/Wine64), but it isn't usable yet).

So you are using driver 177.82 and couldn't reproduce the memory leak from the
nvnews forum?

Yes, I've seen that, too. Probably there is another problem which should be
investigated (see http://forum.winehq.org/viewtopic.php?t=4101 32bit 2,6GB vs
64bit 3,6GB). A good starting point is the test attached here
http://bugs.winehq.org/show_bug.cgi?id=13335#c140 .


I guess all are different problems which show all the same result. In
combination they arrive after a different time. For users which hit all bugs,
they couldn't even start a game (see bug 17216) and others which hit only some
of them could run the game at least some time. So it's not so easy with the
dupes!
