[Bug 17829] Giants: Citizen Kabuto - dissapearing of sky and water when enemies are blowing up

The bug is still present in 1.1.18.

My system: OpenSUSE 11.0 x86_64, nvidia 7600GT, drivers 180.41, compiz off.
Playing with changed game's graphical settings (lowest, highest), in or not in
wine's virtual desktop doesn't change it. 

In the reaper demo you encounter few kinds of enemies from beginning, the first
are rippers. When I kill them all using only a sword the sky and water doesn't
disappear, they may blow up, but water is still bliush after it. Then it
disappears when I kill (using sword) next enemy - sea ripper, but its body most
be blown up. When I use a (hellfire) bow the bug triggers much earlier during
fights with first rippers, when I hit them with enlighted bow, but not always
in the very first hit, the same what you can see in my second movie from mecc
demo, I killed with bow the first ripper but the clouds and water stayed, then
this happened during second encounter, eventhough the missile didn't really hit
it.... Tell me what debug traces would be the most helpful here, I'll log and
attach them.
