I can confirm it is still broken with 1.0.1 (stock Ubuntu). I'll test the new
version later.

The game has also been updated to support running in a window by default,
resolution still fixed to 1024x768. However, there is no difference between
running it in windowed mode, or running it fullscreen in a Wine desktop window.

As for the bug itself, it seems to be entirely about a click in the edit box. I
can use shift+arrows to select test, and ctrl+c/ctrl+x/ctrl+v work as expected
with the clipboard.
