I do not know if it is different bugs giving the same error message, but like
you said, there are at least 4 different programs giving the same error
message.
When I received word that the problem was fixed, I tested a 1.1.20 wine and the
recommended 1.1.13 version both still gave me the same error as before. I did
find it kind of odd that they said to upgrade to 1.1.13 after the 1.1.20
version was released.

I did unload wine and my software before loading 1.1.13, 1.1.20 and my
software.

I have been chomping at the bit for a fix so I have tried about every version
since 1.1.9 just to see if a fix just happens along.

Being so new to linux based systems, my first thought was that I may be doing
something wrong. I assume (I hate that word) that the developers at winehq have
tests the fix against the software mentioned, eCabinets in my case, and not
just one software thinking it will fix it for all.

I keep my system up to date within 2 weeks of any release. I am still running
the 8.04 Ubuntu and the latest 1.1.20 wine. I am tempted to bump up to the new
9.04 Ubuntu, but I did not want to take the leap and be forced to revert back.
I have a lot of programs I would need to reload. A total reload is the last
thing I want to do but will if it will get my most important program
running.(In reply to comment #7)
