you said the installer aborted but here it completed installation even without
the patch, it wasn't a blocker. but it still was an exception so i'll send the
patches anyways.

there was a guy on IRC the other day that had a problem with the same missing
call and it was a blocker for him so i guess this isn't the only app affected.
