I've did some tests (which I'll post to wine-patches soon) and this isn't a
cause.
I've tested all 3 cases that your patch skips.

Please try to add a NULL check for MRU calls taking handles as parameters.

P.S. tried a 1.6.5 mikroC demo and it starts fine but UI is really slow.
What version are you trying with?
