Mike, I wrote a similar patch as well, just to check for "\n\n" and remove it,
as per comment above.  This did chance the wininet trace, so that it looked
correct, but I still got the error 500s from the server.  See
http://pastebin.com/m50e46ee4 for the trace.  I'll see if I can get time to
check the gzip patches as well, see if they make a difference.
