Adrian, I'm not trying to waste your time. People often forget they filed bugs,
or forget to check up on them. If there is 6 months of inactivity, I ask if
it's still a problem. It takes less than a minute to say yes or no, it's not a
huge time effort. Unfortunately, not all bugs are easy to fix, and so there is
a lack of activity. In your case, it seems that there may be an easy workaround
(setting x to 16-bit), but you've never said if that works or not. How can the
bug be fixed if you don't answer the questions asked?
