Tested again with wine 1.1.32 this time. Didn't touch the software files.
I got a little further. First, the log is now always consistent :
crc = 7934C86C
dll = K:\Oblivion\obse_1_2_416.dll
hookBase = 00340000
loadLibraryAAddr = 7B8573D0
hook thread complete
launching oblivion
Then, I got messages from the loader on the console and the same message in the
obse.log. Things I didn't have before. Here's the messages :
OBSE: initialize (version = 17.2 010201A0)
oblivion root = K:\Oblivion\
plugin directory = K:\Oblivion\Data\OBSE\Plugins\
patched
But I can't launch the game with it. It always crash now. The crash isn't
consistent if I do "sysctl kernel.randomize_va_space=1" before. Sometimes a
dialog box, intitled "Microsoft Visual C++ Debug Library", with the following
message :
"Debug Assertion Failed!
Program: K:\Oblivion\obse_loader.exe
File: fclose.c
Line: 47
Expression: (stream != NULL)
For information on how your program can cause an assertion failure, see the
Visual C++ documentation on asserts.
(Press Retry to debug the application)"
Last thing, when I enable the kernel.randomize_va_space option, every crash
brings a wine error with the following pattern :
"wine: Unhandled page fault on read access to 0x0804a3b4 at address 0xf7fXX387
(thread 003e), starting debugger..." where XX is an hexadecimal value
