Confirming with wine-1.1.33-1.1.i586 from the Emulators:Wine repository on the
openSUSE build service
(http://download.opensuse.org/repositories/Emulators:/Wine/openSUSE_11.2)
running on openSUSE 11.2.

A simple workaround for just this bug is installing the Visual Studio 2005
redistributable package.  (winetricks vcrun2005) is a simple way to do this.
