I don't know if it's exactly the same but installing 2009 version I also saw
=>0 0x6835a208 ITERATE_WriteEnvironmentString+0x208
and installer also failed on adding windows registry keys. The size of
installation was almost the same. Both versions require the same components to
be installed before.

No there is no demo available. You either buy it, receive it as a student or
steal it.
