Confirming.  The problem is that the RSA key being imported has a bit length of
2048, and the currently supported maximum is 1024.

Debugging it is harder than it needs to be due to a paucity of traces, I'll add
a few and submit a patch at least for that.  Fixing the other should be pretty
easy, but I may leave it as an exercise for the reader depending on my time.
