Back in action - other issue was resolved and I have now reinstalled the VM
Infrastructure Client again.

Now for the results - closer, but not quite there.  It looks like it is going
into a very hideous loop when trying to validate the self-signed certificate
from the server.  I redirected output to a log file and, without realizing it,
I quickly created a 1.6GB log file.  I've truncated it to 1MB to attach here.

The command I used to run it was :
  env WINEPREFIX="/home/f.gruman/.wine" WINEDEBUG=crypt,secur32 wine
"C:\Program Files\VMware\Infrastructure\Virtual Infrastructure
Client\Launcher\vpxClient.exe" &>vmInfrastructureClient_run.log
