It is wine 1.1.29 and linux 2.6.30 and this bug still persists... I dont think
it is closed at all =/
I had to put the option noexec=off on the boot cmd line to make InstallWow.exe
not segfault.
just to help figure this out I am using:
wine 1.1.29
gcc -v
