FWIW, I just tested this on wine, using winetricks ie6.

Using:
http://www.google.com - loads fine
attempting to login never completed (after 5 minutes), with _occasional_ spikes
up to 100%, never fully using the CPU for me

https://www.wellsfargo.com - loaded fine
attempting to login seemed to go fine, but never accepted my valid
username/password. Lots of wininet errors...tried with native, but then it
didn't load the site at all.
