FWIW, i applied Attachment 27372 first with Attachment 27301 in place to see
whether the crash was still triggered or not, and it was. Hence, it is more a
workaround than a fix to the root cause of the problem. :-(

OTOH, without Attachment 27301 in place, the crash is not triggered anymore (or
a least it was not during my relatively short test session), which makes me
temporarily happy! :-)

@Stephan : have you had time to take a look at the +seh backtrace i generated?
Does it contains relevant information?
