Would it be that those assemblies are not created/installed unless .NET 2.0 SP2
is installed -prior- to the installation of directx runtime? If that is the
case, that's what probably what happened here -- I did have .NET 2.0 & directx9
installed, but did install .NET 2.0 SP2 subsequently in my attempts to get
things running....
