it seem that you changed the period time and buffer time in your waveout.c


    rate = 10000;
    snd_pcm_hw_params_set_period_time_near(wwo->pcm, hw_params, &rate, NULL);
    rate = 100000;
    snd_pcm_hw_params_set_buffer_time_near(wwo->pcm, hw_params, &rate, NULL);
