Works fine here as well. Bold doesn't work though (does if I do bold +
italics)...

I did have some other weirdness, but it feels more like app bugginess. E.g.,
you can't choose another font size unless a font is chosen, but the default
font is blank. That may be a wine bug, though, perhaps a default font is chosen
on windows...
