yep i can confirm this
repeatedly get this error in console

fixme:d3d:IWineD3DOcclusionQueryImpl_GetData 0x2afa8c38 Wrong thread, returning
1.

(some of the numbers in 0x2afa8c38 change slightly with every repeated line)


changing the resolution once in game, every time you play, can fix the issue
tho in most cases.. so for example if you started the game with 1280x800, then
changed it to 800x600 through options, then the flickering will go away
