The key lines of the log:

err:module:map_image Could not map section .extra, file probably truncated
wine: Bad EXE format for Z:\mnt\sda4\installs\steamtmp\Program
Files\Steam\steamapps\common\borderlands\Binaries\Borderlands.exe

Looks like the .exe is funny, and our loader can't handle it.

suggests that the game's .exe is now protected with securom.
