I can confirm the issue in Wine-1.3.1 and using a Nvidia 7600 card with driver
256.44. The game crashes when you change the screen resolution to 800x600 in
the game's option.
After the crash you need to remove the rt2_tsc.cfg file from the game's
directory in order to start the game again. That resets the configuration to
the default.

The crash doesn't occur if I change DirectDrawRenderer to opengl in the
registry: winetricks ddr=opengl

I attach a +d3d,+ddraw,+d3d_surface log, maybe a more experienced user or
developer find something in it.
