version 1.06 installs and starts fine for me too.

Looking at your logs it seems you used a tainted WINEPREFIX.

The crash shown in first attachment has absolutely nothing to do with game
installer.

This process doesn't belong to the game installer. This is either bundled stuff
or malware.

The second attachment doesn't contain any crash. Though the output is different
from mine (I don't get these errors).

Again: Please use a _clean_ WINEPREFIX before installing the game.
Provide a log showing the crash when you used a completely _new_ WINEPREFIX.
