wine init with +d3d,+d3dcaps trace

Finally managed to get tracing happening. The open source driver GL version
appears to only be sufficient for DirectX8 so far. However there are some
interesting results:

So it looks like the GL support isn't quite sufficient yet for DirectX9
support. However I don't know enough about the MESA extensions listed above and
whether they might be able to replace some of the missing functions if the Wine
code tried to make use of them.
