The build is running atm, I'll report the results ASAP.

As for the OpenGL 2 support in the FOSS driver: a X developer recently told me,
that it is unlikely, they'll add it tu the r300 to r500 drivers (apart from the
fact - as Stefan noted - that the hardware is not fully capable of OpenGL 2,
which is also documented at <http://wiki.x.org/wiki/RadeonFeature>). But the
Gallium drivers for r300 onwards already do support it (currently that's a mix
of hardware and software acceleration, which should get replaced by full
hardware acceleration in the future).
