Update:

The error I got before "Setup did not complete successfully. We are sorry for
the
inconvenience" was not Wines fault, but was caused by a bad disc! I tried with
the original and it works perfectly.

Office 2007 does NOT install on Wine's msxml3 though, so there must be a
problem in this dll implementation .
