I reinstalled Ubuntu Linux (via Windows 7), I followed the steps
to install wine 1.1.38 and winetricks dotnet20 and all.  I downloaded
SlingPlayer version 2.04 and I ran it and it still crashes wine. I get the
same error result I described before, a deficiency in wine
check http://appdb.winehq.org for tips ... report problem to
http://bugs.winehq.org

This crap does not work. Maybe it is my notebook: Dell XPS M1730 64-bit.
Back to windows to run SlingPlayer.
