I confirm that in 1.1.38 this bug is still occurring

I have a nVidia 9300 GS, Ubuntu 9.10, any other details you might require?

this is all that shows up on mine :

II Demo$ wine FF8Config.exe 
fixme:win:EnumDisplayDevicesW ((null),0,0x32f544,0x00000000), stub!

nothing else after this, and this happens with the demo
